Anyone who follows the Asian fine art scene knows that Burmese paintings have started showing up all over the galleries and shows since the country opened up in 2012. For art lovers and collectors it has been refreshing to have so much new talent to discover in such a short time, and we’re seeing more exposure, more shows and more to admire each day.
Case in point, a lovely show featuring two contemporary Burmese painters, Aung Myint and Min Wae Aung opened in Hong Kong this week. Both artists have works on display and gallery shows scheduled. We are excited to see their works shared with the art community at large!
